Repeat PrescriptionsNice_vlue_pills

Patients on long-term medcation and approved for repeat prescriptions can re-order in a number of ways:

  • Online - you can order your repeat medication using our online services
  • By telephone - call any time during surgery hours on 0141 339 3211 and leave a message on the prescription answering service. Please speak clearly giving you name, date of birth, items required and, if applicable, the name of the chemist you wish to collect from (this needs prior arrangement).
  • By hand - drop your tear-off slip attached to your previous prescription into the surgery post box having clearly marked the items required.
  • By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope and we will post it back to you.

Alternatively you can arrange for your regular chemist to order and collect your prescription for you.

All regular prescriptions can be collected the next working day after 15:00. Please ensure that you order in plenty of time and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

Important

  • Telephoning prescription requests through to a chemist should only be in emergency cases.
  • If the chemist does not attend the practice to collect prescriptions you will be liable for the cost of postage.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
