Greener Practice
Greener Practice
Greener Practice is the UK’s primary care sustainability network, helping healthcare professionals and patients work together to protect health and the environment.
It is a Community Interest Company (CIC) founded in 2017 by a small group of GPs in Sheffield—which has since grown into a national movement supporting healthcare professionals to transition toward environmentally sustainable primary care.
Greener Practice aims to empower patients by helping them understand how climate issues impact their health, and by offering practical, sensible steps—from diet and home choices to medication discussions and air quality awareness—that support both personal well-being and environmental sustainability.
