Noticeboard

We have almost finished our first doses of all 75+ aged patients and shielders. The practice will contact these patients again in the near future for the second dose.

All other age groups/categories will be completed in community hubs which will be communicated to you directly by the Health Board and not the practice. You can visit NHS Inform or call the COVID vaccine helpline on 0800 030 8013 for any queries.

To reduce footfall at the surgery, all prescriptions must be picked up by a pharmacy driver and sicklines must be posted out to your home. Please do NOT come to the surgery for either of these.

Also if you are a new patient looking to register with the practice, please do NOT come to the surgery to do this, instead see the following page for more information on how to register.

Our Practice Policy for COVID-19

Staff Training - The surgery will be CLOSED every Tuesday between 12.30 - 13.30 for the forseeable future for staff training. For urgent matters, there will still be a telephone service.

Online booking of GP appointments via. Patient Access is currently SUSPENDED due to coronavirus. As patient access is disabled the text reminder service is disabled at present also.

As part of our commitment to ensure the best value of services and to reduce costs to the NHS we have been reviewing the need to produce Medical Cards. At the moment medical cards are produced every time a patient registers or moves address and the cost to the NHS is over £250k per annum.

As a result we are aiming to stop the routine production of medical cards and move to an on demand service only. Should you require a medical card please contact the Health Board on:

Tel: 0141 300 1300

or visit http://www.psd.scot.nhs.uk/contact-us.html
