COVID Vaccination Exemption Certificates: GPs and their teams cannot issue vaccination exemption certificates. Further information on the vaccination exemption certificates scheme can be found on the Scottish Government and NHS Inform websites or alternatively you can call the COVID status helpline on 0808 196 8565.

Staff Training - The surgery will be CLOSED every Tuesday between 12.30 - 13.30 for staff training. For urgent matters, there will still be a telephone service.

Training Practice

Registrars

We are a recognised training practice and registrar doctors work with us for a period of 6 or 12 months. At some point we may seek your consent to video your consultation as part of a video surgery. The videos are used in their training to be a GP and the consultations are reviewed by their trainers.

The recording is only of you and the doctor talking together; intimate examinations will not be recorded and the camera will be switched off on request.

All recordings are carried out according to GMC guidlines, are stored securely and will be deleted after 3 months of recording.

You do not have to agree to your consultation being recorded so please advise your doctor. This is not a problem and will not affect your treatment in any way.

Students

Medical and nursing students also attend the practice from time to time and we hope you will co-operate with us and help them to learn about general practice. However, you will be informed of their presence in advance and if you do not want them to be present at your consultation your wishes will be respected.
