Phlebotomy and Treatment Room
Phlebotomy
Greater Glasgow Health Board have directed that phlebotomy services for non-urgent blood tests should now be moved from GP surgeries to central locations at local health centres.
We are now directing patients to this service. Patients will be advised by a clinician or receptionist to book a blood test appointment by calling 0141 355 1525. An appointment at a suitable time and location will then be arranged.
The local health centres where the phlebotomy services are located are:
- Community Centre for Health (Partick)
- Maryhill Health Centre
- Drumchapel Health Centre
- Possilpark Health Centre
- Plean Street
- Woodside Health Centre
Alternatively, you can also fill out your details here and the phlebotomy service will call you back within 2 working days to arrange an appointment.
If attending any of these locations is too difficult for you, you will still be able to make a phlebotomy appointment at the surgery, however our capacity is very limited, and you may have to wait longer for an available appointment.
Treatment Room
The treatment room service is now also available at local health centres for the following:
- Stitches/staples removal
- Wound checks
- Dressing changes
- Ear syringing
The local health centres should be contacted directly to arrange an appointment:
- Community Centre for Health (Partick) - 0141 211 1400
- Maryhill Health Centre - 0141 451 2600
- Drumchapel Health Centre - 0141 211 6070

- Plean Street - 0141 211 1400
- Woodside Health Centre - 0141 201 5500
If attending any of these locations is too difficult for you, we may be able to offer some of these services, however our capacity is very limited, and you may have to wait longer for an available appointment.
