Noticeboard

The surgery will be CLOSED on Tuesday 28th of January between 12.30 and 13.30 for staff training. For urgent matters there will still be a telephone service.

We now require 48 HOURS to process ALL PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS. Prescriptions will be available for collection at the surgery after 48 hours from the request. This change is due to increased pressure on resources, thank you for your co-operation and understanding.

We would like to give a warm welcome to our new Practice Nurses - Alice Herrington and Colette Watt.

The surgery has an NHS Advanced Physiotherapist - Kirsty Anderson, if you have a bone, muscle or joint problem, please call the surgery for more information.

Travel Clinic - Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, we are not able to provide this service at present. We appreciate your understanding at this time and we will update the website once the clinic is restarted. For a list of private travel clincs please see the following page: Private Travel Clinics.

Test Resultsblood_taking

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Please bear this in mind and only call the surgery after sufficient time has elapsed.

Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.  If you are under investigation by the hospital, any tests will be reported by the requesting consultant. You will either receive a follow up appointment at the hospital or the consultant may write a report of your results to pass on to your GP.  (Please note this may take a number of weeks)

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
